The Roma Pass

The Roma Pass is the ultimate card to have during your stay in Rome. Sponsored by the Rome City Council and the Ministry for the Arts and Cultural Activities and Tourism with the public transport company ATAC,  the Roma Pass gives you free access to Rome’s public transportation system and discounted tickets to the best events, exhibitions and museums. Why not order it at home before your journey begins?

The two options of the Roma Pass 72 Hours card or the Roma Pass 48 Hours card conveniently match up to whatever your travel itinerary may be for 72 or 48 hours. Make sure to show a valid form of ID with the pass when asked by authorities for verification. Please note that most museums are closed on Mondays except for the Colosseo, Mercati di Traiano, Museo Capitolini, Museo dell’Ara Pacis and Terme di Caracalla. National museums and archaeological sites allow free admission on the first Sunday of each month.
